Team Wolf travel to Greece!

Have you heard of the Dumball Rally? It’s an extreme fancy dress festival on wheels, where there is no winner and no competition, just convoys of people driving around Europe for fun whilst raising lots of money for charity.

On 14th September this year the convoy departed from Dreamland in Margate to Calais and over seven days they travelled all the way to Corfu. The rally covered an impressive 2,500 miles and saw the cars and drivers pass through a total of 13 countries. Vehicles were personalised, with lots of interesting and fun designs, ranging from everything from the A-Team to Pokémon!

One of our neighbours at the Brooks Lane Estate, is Heatload, a team of experienced IT professionals all with significant experience in designing, building, operating and migrating to data centres. Along with ARC:MC, they made up Team Wolf, one of the participating teams in the rally.

Here at Thesis we were delighted to sponsor Team Wolf, in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust. Team Wolf raised an amazing £13,208 and in total, the Dumball event raised over £1,000,000, surpassing their fundraising target!

Watch the highlights of Team Wolf’s adventure here. The next Dumball event in 2020 will take place in Mexico, and Team Wolf have promised they’ll be taking apart again – we can’t wait to watch their adventures all over again!
