Yes it’s painful and very inconvenient but there are still plenty of ways to enjoy yourself during the school holidays, and thankfully, a break shouldn’t interfere with consuming chocolate eggs! swimming pools, play-centres and parks are pretty much off the agenda, but here are ways to fill the days before term starts again. The Easter delivery times are as follows: Friday 14th April 2017 (Good Friday) – No Service. Saturday 15th April – All orders received by 10.30am will be dispatched. Monday 17th April (Easter Monday) – No Service. Tuesday 18th April - Royal Mail resumes normal service.
It’s not often you are overwhelmed by someone’s passion and commitment to make a difference, but when we met Nick Wright that is exactly what happened. We met Nick at the supermarket whilst he was running a marathon. Yes, you read that correctly – as we were doing our weekly shop, he was running over 26 miles on a treadmill. Why? He was raising awareness, funds and sponsorship for Walkoncemore; an amazing charity which supports cutting edge research into a cure for spinal cord injury.
Aaah Mother’s Day; a 24-hour period during which we all rush out for cards, chocolates and flowers to let our dear mums know how much we love her. We know what you’re thinking. You’re thinking that as your mum is the best mum in the world you need to do something extra special this year. You want to pull out all the stops and give her a gift she will remember forever as being the best gift she EVER received.
The best thing about working in our field is that we are fortunate enough to meet countless healthcare professionals dedicated to providing the best possible patient care. They are the kind of people who put others first without a single moment’s hesitation and we think they are truly marvellous.
