Our favourite things to do and eat at Easter

Here at LimbO, we love Easter. As well as signalling the start of spring and warmer months, it’s a great excuse to get crafting and cooking with all the family. Here are some of our favourite items to make in the coming weeks.

1.  Rice crispy cakes (image source)

They’re easy-to-make and require no baking – rice crispy cakes are an Easter classic. Kids can help out with the process and they’ll be proud of the results!

2.  Easter bonnet (image source)

Another traditional activity at Easter is making a bonnet. Get crafty with your little ones, and make a bonnet as wild as your imagination will allow! It’s a great excuse to sit back and let the children create a masterpiece. There’s plenty of inspiration here.

3.  Easter bunny DIY (image source)

Staying on the crafty theme, we love these DIY Easter bunnies! What better way to present Easter eggs? We can say they’re great for kids, but what adult wouldn’t love these too?

4.  Brownies (image source)

Easter isn’t complete without plenty of chocolate treats. We’re particularly partial to a creme egg, so we don’t need an excuse to get making these creme egg brownies. You can find the full recipe here.

5.  Easter egg hunt (image source)

Rather than just eating chocolate (although we will certainly do our fair share of that too) – maybe a more active way to pass the time will be welcome this Easter! An Easter egg hunt gets all the family outdoors and needn’t take much time to set up. All that’s required are some plastic eggs, some paper and a pen. See the instructions and a free printable activity sheet here.

Have fun!
