A weatherproof and breathable protector for the lower arm including the fingers.  The Outcast is made from weatherproof fabric with Velcro® adjustment straps. The child mitt can be used on either hand and is ideal for outdoor use to protect your child’s cast or dressing.

Several years ago I purchased a Limbo product for my foot which was excellent I recently fractured my elbow so purchased protection for my arm which is in plaster from hand to armpit in a fixed L shape Unfortunately was unable to put it over my elbow Jo from Limbo discussed problems with me and refunded the cost for which I am very grateful

Slide the arm into the opening and adjust the Velcro® straps as required. The Outcast Mitt should reach past the top of your below elbow cast and can be adjusted to fit comfortably against the skin. The Mitt can be used on either hand.

 

Care guidelines

Avoid scuffing the material as this could damage the weatherproofness of the fabric.

The Outcast is not submergible – it is not suitable for bathing, showering, or using in swimming pools.

Handwash at a cool temperature with a mild washing detergent. Do not bleach. Weatherproofness will be decreased after multiple washes. Can be re-waterproofed after extended use (when water no longer ‘beads’ on the surface of the material) by using Scotchguard™ or something similar. Do not tumble dry.
