Easy to fit used to keep wound when showering

First the good points, the knee cover was good quality and arrived quickly. Unfortunately, it was nearly impossible to get on. The lower end opening was so small my husband could hardly get it over his foot. With two of us struggling he finally got it into position but both the top and bottom seals were so tight it was uncomfortable. We even checked the packet as we thought we may have ordered a child’s one by mistake. His leg measurement (47cm) was less than the maximum despite being swollen but in the end we had to cut the product off. It left deep indentations on his lower leg. Maybe a choice of sizes or a looser bottom seal may have helped. As a knee one would usually be covering an operation site rather than a plaster cast you need to keep the seal clear of the wound. Having said all that I previously used a full length leg one on a broken leg and it was great.

How should you stop getting a knee bandage wet in the shower?
It’s important to keep your knee bandage dry. The adult knee LimbO provides reliable waterproof protection for dressings and bandages on the knee. The M86 is our standard knee LimbO suitable for average build adults over 165cm height and at least 64kg in weight. If you are below this height and weight, please select your size in the full leg LimbO range. The two waterproof neoprene seals at each end of the cast sleeve will fit snugly around the lower thigh and upper calf. Your lower leg and foot will not be covered enabling washing. The strong triple layer waterproof protector is light and easy to put on, with its soft neoprene seal stretching over your knee dressing to get in position. The seal is non-constrictive providing a safe and comfortable fit for patients with sensitive legs. The waterproof cast cover is a durable, reusable waterproof solution that will provide a long-term solution to the problem and difficulty of washing with a bandage on the knee. If you have a plaster cast on your knee and lower leg, please select one of our full leg LimbO models.
How should I care for my knee injury?
