We want you to focus on having a happy and healthy 2017, so here are a few steps you can take to ensure 2017 is your best year yet.

1.Look after those bones of yours.

Avoid accidents! It sounds obvious but bones get broken in the most ridiculous ways so make one of your resolutions to be hazard aware…. According to this article over a thousand people ended up in hospital after falling out of bed last year.

2.Take time for yourself.

Practise the art of Positive Thinking and Mindfulness. Giving yourself time for reflection could positively impact on your wellbeing… there’s no harm in trying!

3.Laugh more.

They say that laughter is the best medicine so do something that makes you laugh. Read something funny and up your dosage of laughter whenever you feel like it!

4.Get outside.

Marvel at the wonder of our planet, breathe in the fresh air, feel the sun on your face and the cold wind at your nose. Nothing beats it.

5.Be organised.

We often say ‘we can’t do it all’, but if we planned our time more effectively who knows what could be achieved?

6.Make time for family time.

It’s easy to put off trips to see your relatives and before you know it, months have passed by.

7.Eat well.

You are what you eat so make a conscious effort to plan your weekly meals and prepare food ahead. That way you are less likely to snack, skip meals or opt for unhealthy convenient options.
