Next month from 11th to 17th June, Diabetes Week is taking place to fight for a world where diabetes can do no harm. Diabetes is a common long-term health problem in the UK, affecting around 3.7 million people in the UK alone and the number of people diagnosed with it is rising rapidly. People living with a diagnosis of the condition has more than doubled in the last 20 years and it is estimated that up to 549,000 people have the condition but have yet to be diagnosed.
It may only seem like five minutes ago since they went back to school after Chistmas, but February half-term is almost here and before you know it, the kids will be off school and needing to be entertained!
