If you live with diabetes, you know it can be challenging. But there are a wealth of resources out there that can be useful and make everyday life a lot easier. Connecting with people that have the same condition can make a big difference in making you feel that you’re not alone. We’ve compiled some of the best blogs and websites dedicated to diabetes that create regular informative and inspiring content.

Diabetes Ramblings is a blog by Sue Rericha, who was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes in March 2008. Her blog discusses motherhood, work and the emotional aspects of living with Type 2 diabetes.


Diabetes Sisters is a hugely useful resource. It has a wealth of information primarily for women living with the condition. If there’s a particular issue you want some information on, chances are it’ll be covered in some form on this site.


Think that having diabetes means you have to sacrifice having delicious food? Think again. With over 500+ recipes on the blog, Diabetic Foodie by Shelby Kinnard will give you plenty of information for breakfast, lunch and dinner.


Diabetes Dad, Tom Karlya, has two children with diabetes and therefore has educated himself on the condition since 1992. His website shares what he has learnt as he manages his daughters condition as best he can/
